They will leave Canada and fly to San Diego. After, we will be renting a van and crossing over on “the other side” (term used by the Mexicans) where everything familiar will suddenly disappear. We will be driving down to San Quintin, where Mexican Medical Ministries has one of its bases, Clinica La Esperanza (The Clinic of Hope).
Here we will be working closely with the Mexican nationals, as well as with the missionaries on site.
During the morning we will be doing construction projects, such as helping improve the conditions at the local rural school, helping a Bible School teacher with his house, working at the drug and alcohol Rehab Centre.
During the afternoon the groups will be in the migrant worker camps doing VBS activities with the children. A local student from the Bible School will be accompanying us and teaching a story from the Bible, while we will be in charge of the games, music and crafts.
During the evening we will have different activities: visiting a local church, working together with the missionaries and going in a nearby village to show a Christian film or putting together sports activities. All these activities are different tactics through which we wish to be able to spread the message of Christ’s love and also learn to “love our neighbor as ourselves”. After an exhausting seven day trip we will be returning to San Diego and from there flying to Bellingham. During this time we strongly ask for your prayers. We are aware that we are stepping into a spiritual battlefield and there are going to be a lot of attacks. We are in a third world country that not long ago was making headlines on CNN, but we know that we have God on our side, which is far more important.
If He calls us to go, we the youth of Agape Christian Church want to obey.

The links are both from the Mexican Medical web site, one talking about the location where we are going and the other about the activities that are going to be performed there.
Thank you,

Dan and Danielle Cota
